Terms of Psychotherapy Services

Bezstresowo Psychotherapy Center - Olesya Haiduk

§1 General Provisions

  1. These Terms define the rules for providing psychotherapy services by Bezstresowo Psychotherapy Center - Olesya Haiduk, hereinafter referred to as the "Therapist".
  2. The Client is a person using psychotherapy services, hereinafter referred to as the "Client".
  3. Using the services means acceptance of these Terms.

§2 Scope of Services

Services are provided by a psychotherapist trained in Transactional Analysis, working in accordance with ethical standards and under the constant supervision of supervisors. Sessions are held in-person or online.

Services provided by the Center include:

  • psychotherapy for eating disorders;
  • psychotherapy for women in difficult relationships;
  • trauma psychotherapy;
  • psychotherapy for depression and anxiety disorders;
  • psychotherapy for Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families;
  • couples psychotherapy.

The Center does NOT provide:

  • psychotherapy for psychotic disorders (including schizophrenia);
  • addiction psychotherapy;
  • family psychotherapy.

§3 Nature of Psychotherapy Services

  1. Psychotherapy is a process of psychological support, working on emotional and relational difficulties, and the effects of traumatic experiences.
  2. Services provided by the Therapist are not medical services and do not replace psychiatric treatment or pharmacotherapy.
  3. The Therapist does not issue prescriptions, sick leaves, certificates, or court opinions.
  4. Psychotherapy does not guarantee specific results - its effects are individual.

§4 Trauma Therapy and Client Safety

  1. The Client is aware that the psychotherapy process, especially in the area of traumatic experience, may involve experiencing strong emotions, temporary deterioration of well-being, or the emergence of difficult memories.
  2. In emergency situations, the Client is obliged to immediately contact emergency numbers (112) or medical facilities.
  3. The Therapist may recommend psychiatric consultation or another form of specialized help.

§5 Rules of Therapeutic Cooperation

  1. Psychotherapy is based on voluntariness, confidentiality, mutual respect, and clearly defined boundaries.
  2. The Client commits to active participation in the therapeutic process and honest communication.
  3. The therapeutic relationship is exclusively professional: no private or social relationships are established outside of sessions.
  4. Contact with the Therapist takes place only in agreed forms and hours.

§6 Scheduling and Cancelling Appointments

  1. Session dates are arranged individually.
  2. The Client is required to cancel an appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
  3. In case of not cancelling an appointment or cancelling it after this time, the Therapist has the right to charge the full fee.
  4. Client's lateness does not extend the session.

§7 Fees

  1. The current price list is available on the website or provided to the Client before starting cooperation.
  2. The session fee is paid in the agreed form.
  3. The Therapist reserves the right to change prices, informing the Client in advance.

§8 Online Sessions

  1. Online sessions are held via an agreed communication platform.
  2. The Client is obliged to ensure private, safe conditions for the conversation and a stable internet connection.
  3. The Therapist is not responsible for technical problems on the Client's side.

§9 Confidentiality and Professional Secrecy

  1. All information provided by the Client is covered by professional secrecy.
  2. Confidentiality may be breached only in cases provided for by law (e.g., threat to life).

§10 Liability

  1. The Therapist is not responsible for decisions made by the Client outside the therapeutic process.
  2. Psychotherapy is not a form of legal, financial, or medical advice.

§11 Final Provisions

  1. These Terms may be amended.
  2. The current version of the Terms is available on the Center's website.
  3. Matters not regulated by these Terms are governed by Polish law.
